Well, it's almost here. Judy and I are so excited about how this production is coming together. The cast has been working really hard and in 5 more days we will present our opening night preview of "The Evolution of Gospel Music." We have been blessed to have so many talented actors, singers and dancers that it promises to be an memorable event. Make sure that you come if you are in the area.! Catch us after the shows during our 'Meet the Cast' after party on June 15th - 17th. That's a VIP tickect. See you there!

Hey Everyone,
Just a quick note to let you know wha's going on. Judy and I have been very busy with preparations for our upcoming event "The Evolution of Gospel Music" A Muisical Play. It's happening June 12th - 17th. I want to say a personal thanks for all of the prayers and support that we have received. It is truly invaluable. If you live in the area, a group from the play may be coming to your church to do an exerpt from the play. Look for us!

Hello Everyone-
It's been a while- I've been very busy in school. Yes I'm back in school working on my Music Degree. I have only 10 credits remaining. God allowed it to happen, and so I have been taking time to complete my education- which is always a good idea. I'm writing you from SanAntonio Texas, I am at a Leadership Retreat for the Leadership Foundations of America. What an awesome experience we are having here. I miss my lovely wife however. Anyway- Stay tuned about the up and coming "Purpose and Praise CD" - many of you are asking when it will be released, and we plan to have it done in 2006! So- stay tuned, in the meantime catch me at the West Coast GAG Conference, you don't want to miss it, there will be some great artists there. Also- during Memorial Day weekend I will be doing the FolkLife Festival with the wonderful Pastor Pat Wright. Catch these dates, and I'll keep you posted of other summer opportunities. Hey everyone- just wanted to update on the progress of my new project "Purpose & Praise" - due out in stores Summer 2006. The recording was "off the hook!" Be sure and check out the pictures we have up on the site now. I was joined by Miss Anna Maria Pasely who opened up the show, and some of the finest NW Musicians holding it down in the band- the music was par excellent!, and singers such as Robin Henderson, and MaryAnn Perry- We recorded 12 songs live, and are in the studio putting polish on the CD and DVD. Look out for it, because it's going to be hot!! God is really going to bless you through this twin CD/DVD Set. It's imperative that we flow in Gods "Purpose & Praise"!

Happy Holidays everyone! Judy and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you all did as well. Since the CD/DVD Recording in September I have been rehearsing for the Langston Hughes "Black Nativity" Play, which will be showing at the Intiman Theatre at the Seattle Center. I will be Directing a great band this year, Annie Jones Barnes on Bass, Timothy Davis, drums; Walter Finch, guitar; Anthony Davis, percussions; and myself on Keys. Come on out and hear some great traditional, and comtemporary Gospel and Christmas music. It adds a tremendous gospel flair to a beautiful Christmas story of Jesus. Look for me on "The Word Network" this month. I will be singing on "The Bobby Jones Show". I will appear on the night of the Legend's concert with gospel greats like Twinke Clark, Candi Staton, Tremaine Hawkins, Edwin & Walter Hawkins and Darryl Coley. What a Privilege!

The exact time that the Legend's Concert will be aired has not yet been established however, "Bobby Jones Presents " airs every Saturday at 11:30pm.

I just got a call that I will be a musician in Langston Hughes Black Nativity play in November and December! What an honor. I'm looking foward to it. Stay tuned for details.

We are resting this weekend, only a few piano and voice lessons, other than that we are happy to be at home for a while. Never underestimate the power of REST.

Judy has a family reunion in Louisiana this week, so I'm off to meet some her family for the first time. We'll stop in Dallas and see my sister Dorcas first, she's all relocated. Blessings on miss D- she'll do well. Then, we will also go and minister at my big brother Dewitt's church in Shreveport Louisiana. It should be fun! Blessings.

Today we are going cruising with Royce and about 300 of his closest friends. I'll be ministering on his annual Gospel boat cruise event. We are looking forward to it, and hearing music from all the other wonderful artists. I'm cool with it cause I can swim, but Judy can't so she's a little nervous. Pray for my girl. Neal

Marriage is a blessing. My good friends Joshua and Anika are getting married today. I will be singing and playing for them. They are special people. Plus we will get to see all our old friends at Mt. Calvary Christian Center in Seattle. This is a special day.

No, not me and Judy, but our good friends Aaron Haskins and his beautiful wife Cheryl. They have invited me to sing a song that I don't really know the words to. Thank God for sheet music! They have been friends to the Jones family forever, and we have alot of beautiful memories. It will be a beautiful wedding tonight.

Hey Judy and I are headed to Conneticut to tape the Bobby Jones Show, live at the Urban Impact Summit. Pray for us. It will broadcast in October 2005 on the WORD Network. Look out for it. Thanks for all of your support. And many blessings to you.

Wow- we are writing from beautiful Los Angeles. Preparing to minister at two churches tomorrow. First we will stop in and minister with our friends at First Baptist Church of Lakewood (Craig and MaryKay Henderson), then we are off to Holy Assembly COGIC with my good friend Pastor Chris Milton). On tomorrow we will be doing a live recording and TV show somewhere in Long Beach! We will keep you posted, maybe you can tune in and watch. Anyway, we drove 15 hours by car to get here, and we will never do it again, it was a lonnnnnnnnng ride. So we are going to sleep before we have to minister tomorrow. Goodnight.

Hey, I'll be at the Love of Life Fellowships, Praise on the Green Event today at Sacajewea Park. My good friend Pastor Hobdy will be your host. Join us for a beautiful day of Gospel music in the park. Starts at 4pm today.

This weekend we are off for the 7 hour journey to COMOX B.C. to sing as a guest of the fabulous Ms. Patrinell Wright and the Total Experience Choir. We will be able to bless many people we do not always get to connect with. Pray that God will do a new thing in the spirits of the people. Until next time. Neal
